Who Was? Adventure App

Do your kids love the Who Was? books like my youngest does? My youngest discovered the books about a month ago when she picked up one for AR reading goal. She feel in love with this series and wants to read them all through out the summer. She ever wants to read What Was? and Where Is?

The books are just so wonderful, fun to read and educational. Your little reader learns so much, even I’ve learned alot from flipping through them. The Who Was? series covered historical figures, artist, movie directors, scientist, civil rights leaders, sports stars and so many more categories.

The app is just as fun and educational as the books. It is great to play with while on the go and perfect to use while playing the waiting game at appointments and restaurants. Many player’s can play the game and it’s fun to see just how much everyone knows.

Who Was? Adventure app is affordable and perfect way to prevent the summer slide. You can the Who Was? Adventure where you read timelines about each individual in the book series. Than you can play the level and answer questions some based on the person you just read about, while others are about other book series individuals. You have to answer 7 questions correctly to proceed. They give you lots of chances so no mad upset kids.

The Arcade game is also available to play, it’s a little harder. The balls with the characters pictures fall and pile up. Once you fill the area the game is over. Let me tell you I’ve filled my fair share of arcade areas. It’s all in fun and you will hit replay to play again and again.

The app is based on Grosset & Dunlap’s wildly popular Who Was…? series, which features cultural icons from throughout history and today, crossing race, religion, ethnicity, gender, and field of achievement. With over 20 million Who Was…? books in print, 125 different titles, and 46 new releases in the Who Was…? line and its spin-offs, What Was…? and Where Is…?, planned for 2015, it is the leading biography series for young readers in the market today.
