This chunky board book is a big book for little ones, coming in at 96 pages. You can read this book all at once or in sections since it is divided into 3 topics: things that go, things to see, and things to eat. This book really does a great job at featuring city life and what I’d think NYC life would be like. Cityblock features 24 different aspects of living in the city. Each section starts off in the big city and slowly goes to a neighborhood with in the city. This big chunky board book will be appealing to both boys and girls alike and span from toddlers to preschool  and beginning readers. The little listeners will love the 96 pages making it more like a big kid book that so many little ones want to read especially if they have older siblings.  Cityblock along with some fun cars, taxi, bus toys and a car mat would make a great gift for a classroom teacher, or child for his or her birthday or upcoming holiday season.
summary: Cityblock explores city life in an exciting and unique way, from up in a high-rise building to down in the subway.  This clever book will attract young readers living in a metropolis as well as those in the countryside with urban life that pops off each page.
